I have to admit I don’t get single-model ultra- enthusiasts.
I mean with all that money he could have had the most interesting and diverse garage ever. If he’s into VW buses, then spread out into weird old eastern-european buses and vans, get an old Econoline, a Dodge A100 etc. This is just the same bus over and over, they just have a different amount of windows. I don’t even see a pickup version. Ugh.

Shit. Well there it is. TBH I watched this clip some time ago and I didn’t rewatch it.
I shouldn’t rant like that.

I do agree that it’s just. too. much. Not that we’re in any position to tell someone what to collect, but what does he need
?
2-3 restored, matching-numbers-rare-collectable-type window examples.
1 non-restored, original example of the above.
A camper
A pickup
A non-matching numbers example to drive and enjoy
A
resto-mod with a Porsche flat 6 (or a Subaru
) and shit, I’m already up to eight
.

That list is perfect. But even hearing about the numbers matching ones not being driven is kinda sad - about the olive Westfalia he says:
Wow look at that, you would be afraid to get it dirty... ...
You probably wouldn’t wanna take it into the woods.
